Yes, I think with a blog there's a feeling that it ought to be a proper record of your life, with nothing important missing, which makes it more intimidating to update—whereas more lightweight social media, like Twitter, ends up becoming a pretty decent record anyway because you do update it, even if only with inanities.

I'm hoping the daily posts will help me get back to using this more like that.
